QuickMap® Version 7.4 offers Title Preview FREE and the ability to order legal documents such as Guaranteed Titles and Survey Plans cheaper and faster than before.

Nov 09 - Version 7.3.144

This upgrade adds

• The new official authoritative topographical map series Topo50 has been released by land Information New Zealand (LINZ) and is now available within QuickMap More...

• QuickMap SalesView House Finder  details all available information on a property  from when it was advertised for sale. This gives you access photos of the house, often including photos inside the house, and a wealth of other data such as the number of bedrooms, who the listing was through etc. This enhancement is free to SalesView Users. • NZTM grid layer. The new New Zealand Transverse Mercator 2000 projection (NZTM2000) will be used for New Zealand's future Topo50 1:50,000 mapping. Version 7.3 adds a new NZTM Grid to QuickMap under the Topo group. Later this year we also plan to release the new NZ Topo50 map series as a layer (not just the grid lines), although there may be a small charge for this.  

• Add support for NZTM ecw files. Adding NZTM images to QuickMap is now easy. Just drag/drop the files into QuickMap. If the images are in NZTM format, QuickMap will reproject them on the fly.

• Add support for JPEG2000 (jp2) files. Just drag/drop them into QuickMap. The great thing about JPEG2000 is that it supports transparency, but be warned they are a little slower to draw than ecw files.

• Add ability to export points in dxf format. This allows Geodetic marks and other point features to be imported into applications such as 12D. Also added to DXF export is Corporate Owner.

• Updated Schools data and the ability to include schools in the QuickMap® SalesView Market Appraisal

• NZTM grid layer.

• Allow point and line text size to be scaled up, down or WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) when printing. This feature is accessed through the symbology editor points label form.

• Add address to MortgageView property reports

• Add ability to hide/show layer control and info window via button on map.

• Add Text Zoom box to attribute editor for easier data entry and line feed values.

• Miscellaneous; Some people have started getting the error "Convert failed to create coordinate transformation" as a result of some other non-Quickmap application installing incomplete shared components.  We have worked around this problem by compiling our own version of these shared components. 

• Stop Layer control dialog box from disappearing

• REINZ members can import  REINZ sales into SalesView. Import daily if you like. (SalesView only)

• Generate an estimated house value with House Valuer. (SalesView only)

• Include house photos for both recent sales, and properties currently on the market. (SalesView only)
