Upload/Download waypoints, tracks and routes, or select live tracking using NMEA protocol. 

Upload/Download is implemented using QuickMap's Import/Export functionality in conjunction with free GPS software such as GPS Trackmaker.

Waypoints, tracks and routes can be exported from your GPS unit using Trackmaker as an ASCII WAY file and imported into QuickMap using File Import. Maps are uploaded to your GPS unit by exporting from QuickMap as a SHP file (requires Enterprise) and using trackmaker to upload the SHP file to your GPS unit.

Almost all maps in QuickMap can be uploaded to your GPS unit, if your GPS unit supports it. This includes over 120,000 roads, 60,000 places, every parcel in NZ, rivers, tracks, huts etc. We recommend you check your GPS unit against those supported by GPS Trackmaker and its memory capability first.
