When trying to create a new layer in Quickmap, you may get this error:

Quickmap: Add Layer Error

Cannot add layer because:
A layer with this name already exists in Quickmap.

This is due to a bug in an older version of Quickmap. To fix this, upgrade (free) to the latest version by either clicking Help -> Software Updates… -> Check now and following through the install. Alternatively, if you’re running an older version that doesn’t support updating from within Quickmap, you can manually download the latest version from our Downloads page.
