Building outlines of buildings within mainland New Zealand can be downloaded for free to use as a layer within Quickmap. These have been captured from the latest aerial imagery and is sourced from the LINZ Data Service and licensed for reuse under CC BY 4.0. Published Jan 2020.
To download the building outline layer for free, open Quickmap and click Tools -> Downloads and click Download to add the Building Outline layer. This can then be accessed from the “Other” layer group in Quickmap.
