When starting the Quickmap Data Download Manager, you may get this error:

Problem with Quickmap Data Download Manager

Configuration Error: The DataDir under registry key
HKLM\Software\Custom Software\Quickmap\Config is not
valid.

This happens if a valid folder location isn’t accessible from the afore mentioned registry location.

To fix this, open the Registry Editor and create the a new String Value called DataDir (if it doesn’t already exist) and set it’s value to your data directory location in the following registry keys:

• HKLM\Software\Custom Software\Quickmap\Config
• HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Custom Software\Quickmap\Config

Alternatively, install a valid copy of the Quickmap data.
