May 2025 Update

We’ve made several improvements to Prover and Premise to give you more control and flexibility with your data. Here’s what’s new:

Prover and Premise Enhancements

Improved Data Exporting

  • Aerial export: When Aerials are enabled, your DXF export will now include a separate GeoTIFF file. This makes the aerial imagery easy to use in other applications – even if you don’t need the DXF itself.
  • More data can be exported: It is now possible to export:
    • 1m Contours
    • Storm Pipes
    • Waste Pipes
    • Water Pipes
  • DGN export: We’ve added DGN as a supported export format to improve compatibility with a wider range of software.

Smarter Defaults

  • 1m Contours on Topo50: When viewing the Topo50 map, 1m Contours now automatically display to give you more immediate context.
  • Export defaults: When exporting, the system now pre-selects the layers currently visible on your map – saving you time and clicks.

Coming Soon

As extreme weather events become more common, access to current, high-resolution elevation data is more important than ever. That’s why we’re expanding our 1m contour coverage to include most of New Zealand – helping you stay informed and prepared.

If you have any questions or feedback, don’t hesitate to reach out. Thanks for using Prover and Premise!
