The Request Channel Timed Out While Waiting For A Reply – Software Updates

When updating Quickmap via the Help -> Software Updates menu from within Quickmap, you may get this error:

Software Update Failed

The request channel timed out while waiting for a reply after 00:00:58:9597276. Increase the timeout value passed to the call to Request or increase the SendTimeout value on the Binding. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout.

This may be due to an intermittent network connection or the service being unavailable. Please close Quickmap before proceeding, then try again later.

This error may be followed by this error: Gave up waiting for a response to your cancellation request.
